Ramen definitely has a special place in our hearts, especially for Akiko. ❤️

Despite all the delicious carbs you see on our page, we actually eat pretty minimal carbs. But when we do, @sunnoodles is our absolute go-to for Ramen.  From the flavor to the texture and bite, it’s simply so damn good!

We paired theirs with the @jorinjimiso Goma Miso Sauce. ("Goma" stands for sesame, in case you’re wondering!) If you are looking for a simple yet incredibly satisfying ramen dish, here you go!

We are already missing California and we haven't even been back home for very long! But the good news is we will be heading to Italy within a few weeks. So excited about that!

Today we made a big salad with baked tofu for breakfast. We typically eat greens before any meal, and today was no exception. Also, we are still loving our beautiful plate from @oba_ware

They serve up incredible plant-based Thai and Asian-inspired dishes that would honestly fool any meat-eater.

After arriving at LAX, Akiko already had all the f After arriving at LAX, Akiko already had all the food stops mapped out. First up: @redwhiteramen Ramen in Studio City, California. 

Without hesitation, it instantly became our favorite ramen spot yet. I had the Yuzu Sesame Ramen, Akiko got the White Truffle Miso Ramen, and we shared the roasted avocado miso sushi. Wow,this place is an absolute must-try!

​Every once in a while, I crave a plate of French toast. We’ve been wanting to see that char with @vermicular_global pan, and wow… it did not disappoint.

​We used a sourdough bread from @sprouts which gave it the perfect taste, and topped it all off with @sapjack.vt Bourbon Syrup. We highly recommend that Syrup.

We also used @califiafarms Almond milk which is Akiko’s go-to. 

​That crisp, charred sourdough paired with the rich warmth of the bourbon syrup? Absolute perfection.
